This image shows the comet C/2012 K5 (LINEAR) on the December 27th 2012). It is a composite of 5 LRGB sets of 1 min. exposition each. Since there was almost full Moon no flats could be extracted, therefore the image had to be croped more than usual. Other images of C/2012 K5 can be found here.

The same LRGB set of 5 one minute exposures in each channel was stacked on the comet's nucleus using Winzorised Sigma clipping in PixInsight, which has removed the stars from the image. This images were acquired remotely from the remote controlled IRIDA Observatory .
