M 38 and NGC 1907
Messier 38 (also known as NGC 1912) is an open cluster in the constellation Auriga.It is grouped together with M37 and M38 at a distance of about 3,420 light years away from Earth. On the right of M 38 is seen NGC 1907 - a slightly more distant open star cluster around 4,500 light years from Earth.
